The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Washington (UW) in Seattle is seeking a full-time faculty member at the Associate or full Professor level, without tenure. This faculty member would direct the Labor and Delivery unit and serve as OB Service Chief at the University of Washington Medical Center.  In addition, there are ample opportunities for leadership and advancement within the department and institution.  This multi-year academic appointment has a 12-month service period.

Candidates must have a MD degree (or foreign equivalent) and must have completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, have administrative experience and have at least five years of experience in a clinical academic setting and proven leadership skills with opportunities for advancement.  Candidates must possess excellent clinical skills, outcomes based education and commitment to education, leadership, and research consistent with the academic mission of the University of Washington.
