Additional InformationThe Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Boston Medical Center (BMC) is seeking candidates for an Assistant or Associate Professor position to join our Maternal-Fetal Medicine Division. We seek candidates whose experience, teaching, research, or community service has prepared them to contribute to our commitment to diversity and excellence. The ideal candidate must have a passion for care of underserved women. The successful candidate will have primarily clinical responsibilities, including coverage of the antepartum service, obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnostic procedures, and perinatal consultation. Teaching is a major component of this position. We are especially interested in candidates with experience and interest in medical student, resident and fellow education. Boston Medical Center a fully accredited OB/GYN residency program with five residents per year.
Faculty members are expected to participate in scholarly activities and research. Our Division’s research focuses on population health for underserved women and eliminating disparities in health care; opportunities are available to collaborate on ongoing projects. There is excellent research support both within the Department of OB/GYN and via the Boston University Clinical and Translational Science Institute, The Boston University School of Public Health, and the Boston University Medical School.

- Possess an MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school and have or be eligible to obtain a Massachusetts Medical License.
- Must be board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology and must have completed a Fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
- Fluency in languages other than English is highly desirable, but not required.
