Additional InformationGeisinger Women and Children’s Institute seeks an experienced and visionary board certified Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to serve as Director for our expanding maternal fetal medicine program. This system position will include administrative, clinical, and educational responsibilities. Research and scholarly activity are encouraged and will best align with Geisinger if focused on clinical outcomes, population health, utilizing our comprehensive, longitudinal EHR/clinical data and genomics resources.
Successful candidates will bring at least 3-5 years of proven leadership experience preferably in an integrated health care organization. Record of accomplishment should include clinical excellence, process improvement, program development and innovation. Maternal fetal medicine services are currently provided in multiple sites and the director must be willing to travel to all sites for clinical and administrative duties. This position reports to the Chair of the Women and Children’s Institute and will lead a collaborative team of maternal fetal medicine physicians, advanced practitioners and sonographers. Geisinger Women’s Health includes an ACGME accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship, an AIUM accredited Ultrasound service, and an OB/GYN residency program. The future of Health is in you.
