The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston, MA is accepting applications for Director of Obstetric Ultrasound in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. This position offers the opportunity to lead the obstetric imaging activities of a large and growing academic MFM Division that serves a diverse group of patients throughout Eastern Massachusetts.
Primary job responsibilities will include 1) ensuring high quality, state of the art prenatal diagnosis through imaging quality oversight at both our Academic Medical Center (BIDMC)/tertiary care center and affiliated community hospitals within the Beth Israel Lahey Health system, and 2) education and mentorship of trainees and junior faculty in the practice of obstetric imaging.
Candidates must be BC/BE in Maternal-Fetal Medicine. Additional requisite qualifications include excellent clinical skills in prenatal diagnosis, demonstrated leadership capabilities, and an aptitude for teaching. Research and scholarship in prenatal diagnosis or ultrasound education is also strongly encouraged.
Academic appointment as Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, full-time, at Harvard Medical School and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications, and a commitment to teaching.
