Associate or Full Professor-In-Residence
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine, seek an Associate or Full Professor for the position of Division Chief of the Maternal Fetal Medicine service. This position is in the Professor-In- Residence Series and confers membership in the Academic Senate.
Applicants must possess an M.D. degree or equivalent and be eligible to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must also be board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty of Maternal Fetal Medicine. The Division provides comprehensive assessments and therapy for high-risk pregnancies through perinatal consultations, prenatal diagnosis and genetic counseling; and provides treatment for complex maternal conditions. UCLA has a rich history in care for high risk gestations either fetal or maternal in origin. The division also has an accredited and competitive fellowship program in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Candidates should have demonstrated leadership experience with a record of success as a cutting-edge clinician, effective educator, and accomplished scholar in any area of clinical or laboratory research. She/he should be enthusiastic about engaging in academically productive scientific inquiry, augmenting an active clinical program, serving the university community and educating medical students, residents, and fellows.
