Additional Information

AdventHealth High Risk Pregnancy at Orlando is seeking a fourth BC Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to join a state-of-the-art program in Central Florida. Our practice consists of three MFM physicians, physician geneticist, and a perinatal advanced practice registered nurse. We are employed by AdventHealth Medical Group which consists of 600+ physicians in 50+ specialties. Primary location is AdventHealth Orlando, with a satellite office in Celebration, Florida.

Practice is 100% consultative with ultrasound interpretations, standard MFM procedures and pregnancy and pre-pregnancy consults in inpatient and outpatient settings. No in-house night call or deliveries. The established OB hospitalist group provides in-house 24/7 coverage. Some phone consultations will occur at night on a rotating call basis with the members of the group. This job is structured to allow for work/life balance in the beautiful and growing community of Orlando, Florida.

Deliveries within the AdventHealth network in central Florida exceed 12,000 annually, which gives us a large and stable referral base. There is an extensive, well-developed NICU network including three Level II and one Level III NICU to support these deliveries. Our center employs over 100 pediatric subspecialists for collaboration of care. Our hospital runs a Coordinated Care for Kids program to connect moms-to-be with the right specialists in MFM, OB, neonatology and the pediatric subspecialty groups. We participate in joint monthly committee meetings (with neonatologists and OB-GYN’s) which helps foster a strong relationship between our team and these service lines.

Opportunity includes competitive compensation, incentive plan, occurrence-based malpractice, paid leave, CME days/allowance, 403b, health insurance, and relocation.
