Maternal Fetal Medicine Associate Professor or Professor and Division Chief UT Health San Antonio, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, is seeking a Board Certified Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to lead the division of specialists as the Division Chief. Our Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine currently consists of 6 physicians, and we are recruiting additional faculty to accommodate increased demand for this service. Our delivery volume is expected to increase by 40% over the next 3 years, and we are seeking motivated and energetic faculty to grow with our Department. Applicants must be eligible for Medical Licensure in the State of Texas.

UT Health San Antonio is the largest full-service physicians’ group in South Texas, with over 700 physicians and providers and more than 120 specialties. We practice in more than 20 clinical sites and have a strong partnership with a local Level I trauma center with a Level 4 NICU, bringing us the most challenging and exciting cases in the region.

Responsibilities include leadership and management of the MFM Division, collaboration with clinical leaders in our department, and coordination with our hospital partner. This position will also participate in patient care in the inpatient and outpatient settings, education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and participation in the Department’s research mission. This position reports to the Chair of the Department.
