The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) David Geffen School of Medicine has an opening for a full-time faculty member in the Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine. This position is in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank.Applicants must possess an M.D. degree or equivalent and be eligible to obtain a California Medical License. Candidates must have completed an accredited Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship and be board certified or eligible in the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and in the subspecialty in Maternal Fetal Medicine.The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine provides comprehensive assessments and therapy for high-risk pregnancies through perinatal consultations, prenatal diagnosis and genetic counseling; and provides treatment for complex maternal conditions. UCLA has a rich history in care for high-risk gestations either fetal or maternal in origin. The division is integrally involved in the education of UCLA OBGYN residents and has an accredited and competitive fellowship program in Maternal Fetal Medicine.The incumbent will be expected to develop and participate in research programs, particularly in the area of clinical investigation. Candidates should possess excellent teaching skills and an active interest in educating medical students, resident, and fellows; and serving the university community. The position includes outpatient clinical outreach responsibilities with the UCLA Health System in the greater Los Angeles area; direct patient care in the Ronald Reagan Medical Center and Santa Monica Hospital settings; and shared on-call duties.The University of California is committed to excellence and equity in every facet of its mission.
