Additional Information

It is our great pleasure to announce that the Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Fellowship training program at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) is expanding its training program with one new fellowship position available for the 2020-2021 academic year (starting July 1, 2020). Our MFM Fellowship Training Program has a rich history of excellence, over 30 years, in discovering and training prominent leaders in our sub specialty. Our program is certified by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), approved by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), and combines exceptional clinical training in high-risk obstetrics with a wide array of opportunities in basic science, clinical and translational research. Clinical and research training is at the core of our mission. Our medical and research educators have outstanding experience in management of high-risk pregnancy, ultrasound, and prenatal diagnostic invasive procedures (amniocentesis, CVS, cordocentesis). State of the art methodologies, including high throughput molecular technologies such as genomics and transcriptomics, are frequently used to test and provide answers to novel research hypotheses.

The program offers research and CME funding as well as internal moonlighting opportunities. Our vision incorporates a highly collaborative environment that is ideal for fostering and enhancing the clinical and research interests of our fellows. The UIC Fellowship Training Program is highly competitive and attracts outstanding and accomplished applicants. Completion of or current enrollment in an ACGME-accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency program is required. We are looking forward to receiving your application.

The University of Illinois at Chicago is an Equal Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer. Minorities, women, veterans and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.  The University of Illinois conducts background checks on all job candidates upon acceptance of contingent offer of employment.
