The Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at Mount Sinai West, part of the Mount Sinai Health System, is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist. We are a productive division in a hospital serving a diverse patient population. Our physicians are actively involved in research, clinical and faculty based practice and teaching responsibilities. Hospital and division highlights include:
·         6,000 deliveries annually
 ·         State-of-the-art Labor and Delivery Unit
 ·         Full-service Fetal Evaluation Unit performing 25,000+ ultrasounds annually ·         Newly renovated state-of-the-art Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
 ·         ACGME accredited MFM fellowship program

 Mount Sinai West’s Division of MFM offers a balance between clinical in-hospital duties, including high risk clinic, ultrasound, and labor and delivery consultative coverage, along with supervision of fellows and residents for antepartum services. The division also includes a high risk consultative obstetrics practice caring for women pre-conceptually, during pregnancy, and postpartum. In addition, the division is supported by genetic counselors who assist the MFM team in caring for women with pre-existing risk factors, fetal anomalies, and abnormal genetic test results. Applicant requirements include:
·         Completion of a U.S. accredited OB/GYN residency program and MFM fellowship program
 ·         Training in perinatal ultrasound, invasive diagnostic procedures, and MFM consultations
 ·         Demonstrating a strong commitment to patient care, research, and resident and medical student education
