Additional InformationThe Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Division of the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the Yale School of Medicine is seeking a full-time specialist, fellowship-trained in maternal fetal medicine for the Yale-New Haven Hospital system.
Academic appointment will be at Yale University; rank (Assistant Professor or Associate Professor) and will be commensurate with experience and CV. The MFM Division has enjoyed unprecedented clinical, academic and research growth. The successful candidate would participate in a rotational schedule to provide inpatient, consultative and prenatal diagnostic services at Yale University and affiliated clinical locations. Interest and experience in basic and/or translational research will be considered an asset. The Department is currently ranked 6th among Ob/Gyn departments in NIH funding, supports numerous clinical trials, and has a large Division of Reproductive Sciences which houses outstanding basic and translational research in the areas of pregnancy sciences, uterine biology, cancer biology and ovarian/gamete biology led by physician-scientists and PhD researchers. A commitment to teaching is required in order to provide outstanding instruction to medical students, residents and fellows in various clinical venues.
