The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Winthrop Hospital, Mineola, NY, has an opening for a full-time Maternal-Fetal Medicine position effective September 2020.

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Winthrop Hospital has established a successful Maternal-Fetal Medicine program (largest in Long Island, NY) and since 2013 the only Fetal Surgery program in Long Island, NY. NYU Winthrop is a tertiary (Level III) care center with over 5,000 deliveries and over 3,500 surgical gynecological procedures annually.  The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine has 12 practice sites throughout Long Island, 25 perinatal sonographers and performs over 30,000 ultrasound exams and consultations. NYU Winthrop hospital has its own independent fully-accredited Ob/Gyn residency program with 5 residents per PGY level and its own independent Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship program with 1 fellow per PGY level. The department also has a Hospitalist Fellowship and a Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (MIGS) Fellowship as well.
In addition to the 10-member Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, the Ob/Gyn Department has the following divisions and full time faculty positions: General Ob/Gyn (23 full-time faculty members), Gynecologic Oncology (5), Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (2), Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility (7), Minimally Invasive Gynecological Surgery (2) and an Ob/Gyn Hospitalist Division (5).
The NYU Winthrop Hospital, part of the NYU Langone Health System since October 2019, has a newly created clinical campus, the NYU Long Island School of Medicine.  Applicants must be graduates of an ABOG accredited Maternal-Fetal Fellowship program and hold a valid license to practice medicine in the State of New York. Must demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care as well as resident and medical student education.
