The Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics at The Johns
Hopkins School of Medicine is seeking a board eligible/board certified Maternal
Fetal Medicine Specialist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level to join
our active and highly successful MFM practice. Johns Hopkins Medicine is designated
a Level IV Hospital by the Maryland Perinatal System Standards and the Maryland
Institute for Emergency Medical Services System.
The clinical scope
of our MFM practice includes an active clinical service on labor and delivery,
obstetrical ultrasound, fetal echocardiography, prenatal diagnosis procedures, perinatal
consultation for the management of high-risk patients, multiple specialty MFM
clinics including maternal cardiac disease, placental health, fetal anomalies,
obesity, infectious diseases, addiction medicine and community outreach. Our Maternal-Fetal Medicine team consists of MFM
physicians, genetic counselors, experienced sonographers, and advanced practice
providers. There is opportunity for
medical student, MFM fellow, ultrasound student and genetic counseling student
teaching. The MFM Division has an excellent
faculty, MFM Fellows and resident staff with resources for research supported
by the department and the University.
