Additional Information

Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (JHACH) in St. Petersburg, Florida is recruiting an additional perinatologist to join our growing team. As the leading MFM program on Florida’s west coast, we draw patients throughout Florida and beyond international borders. JHACH is a 259-bed teaching hospital, ranked as a U.S. News & World Report Best Children’s Hospital in eight pediatric specialties (2021-2022). We are also ranked as the #1 Children’s Hospital in Florida. JHACH is the only US hospital outside the Baltimore/Washington, D.C. location that is part of the Johns Hopkins Medicine system.

Our state-of-the-art MFM practice is primarily consultation based; we do provide obstetrical services on a limited basis to the very high-risk patient at our main campus in St. Petersburg. We cover two large labor and delivery units with a combined total of 7,000 deliveries/year. Our perinatologists are also actively involved in providing supervision and teaching to residents in training at the Bayfront Health OB/GYN residency program.

JHACH offers a dynamic, innovative clinical and academic environment at our campus in St. Petersburg which benefits from research collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine partners based in Baltimore, Maryland. Our Fetal Care Program coordinates care for both the expectant mother and her fetus in partnership with our extensive team of pediatric subspecialists. The Maternal, Fetal and Neonatal Institute (MFNI) provides comprehensive care for women and babies throughout all stages of development, including specialized care for mothers with high-risk pregnancies. In addition to providing clinical care, participation in research is strongly supported and encouraged. Qualified candidates are eligible for an academic appointment at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

We offer a competitive salary and exceptional benefits package including medical malpractice insurance, relocation assistance, paid vacation, paid time and expenses for CME, 403(B) retirement plan, short and long-term disability coverage, and life insurance. The Tampa-St. Petersburg area is a premier place to work and live, offering year-round sunshine, abundant cultural and recreational activities, national sports venues, top-rated schools, and an affordable cost of living. We are centrally located to many of Florida’s amenities, only minutes from beautiful gulf beaches, 90 minutes from Orlando and four hours from Miami. Florida has no state income tax.
