The Program Manager: Fetal Therapy Services is a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for the development and oversight of the Fetal Therapy Program at OHSU, including supporting excellence in the provision of nursing care through the implementation of the Professional Practice Model. The Program Manager:  Fetal Therapy Services is responsible for operational, human resource, quality, and financial management of the Fetal Therapy Program, in partnership with School of Medicine stakeholders. The Program Manager:  Fetal Therapy Services collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to translate and implement fetal programmatic priorities into the departmental daily operations. The Program Manager:  Fetal Therapy Services is responsible to partner with physician quality leaders to monitor clinical quality of the program, implement quality and safety initiatives, lead process improvement efforts related to the program. The Program Manager:  Fetal Therapy Services partners with local operational leaders in care environments in which care occurs to ensure a patient care environment that supports a safe, knowledgeable, compassionate, productive, and engaged staff. The Program Manager:  Fetal Therapy Services partners with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure the delivery of safe, quality patient care and compliance with administrative, regulatory, and clinical policies and procedures.
Basic Requirements:
  • BSN or higher degree in nursing. Master’s degree in nursing or related field, or in process
  • Five years of experience in a related clinical area AND Two years related management/leadership experience.
  • Experience in complex organization environments. Ability to effectively manage multiple conflicting priorities.
  • Proficient with word processing, computational spreadsheet (e.g., Excel) and presentation software.
  • Professional certification in nursing leadership-e.g. Nurse Executive/Administrator within 3 years of assuming the program manager role.
  • Unencumbered Oregon RN license BLS for healthcare provider
