The Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Mount Sinai South Nassau is seeking a Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist to join our wonderful faculty in Beautiful Long Island. We are a productive division serving a diverse population as we have offices located in Rockville Centre, Huntington, Hempstead and Commack. We have a busy consultative and MFM faculty practice consisting of 3 MFM specialists. Our specialists are supported by genetic counselors, diabetes educators, pediatric cardiologists, and a state of the art ultrasound unit. Mount Sinai South Nassau has a busy obstetric service with over 2400 deliveries annually, and an outstanding NICU with key pediatric subspecialties. Mount Sinai South Nassau is committed to an emphasis on Diversity and Inclusion as well as gender equity.

Candidates should be Board certified or Board eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to academic medicine, patient care and resident and medical student education. Research opportunities available. Requirements for physicians include successful completion of a U.S. accredited OB/GYN residency training program and a NY State Medical license. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in all aspects of the Maternal-Fetal Medicine practice at Mount Sinai South Nassau and affiliated practices, including ultrasound services, invasive diagnostic procedures, and MFM consultations and hospital consultations. The salary is extremely competitive and commensurate with level of experience.

Required Qualifications:
• Medical Degree from an Accredited University
• New York Medical License
• Board Certified in OB/GYN
• Fellowship training in Maternal Fetal Medicine
• Active DEA license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Ability to work collaboratively within a clinical team
• Demonstrated professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and effective conflict resolution skills
• Patient focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients
• Demonstrated commitment to Mount Sinai’s mission, vision and values
• Strong computer skills and EMR knowledge
