Catholic Health (CH), named one of the country’s “Best Places to Work” by Modern Healthcare Magazine and honored by Newsday as a Top Workplace on Long Island, a fully integrated health system comprised of six hospitals serving the communities of Long Island, seeks an experienced Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) physician to lead its Eastern Division. The position is located in the highly desired area of West Islip, NY.Practice:
- Maternal Fetal Medicine is one of the systems fastest growing services
- Four of the six hospitals offer obstetrical services with deliveries now exceeding 5,500
- Presently, there are three Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians. In addition to the administrative and clinical duties, the Chief will play an important role in adding additional physicians
- The Eastern Division (Suffolk County) includes Good Samaritan, St. Charles, and St. Catherine’s hospitals with an Ob/Gyn medical staff of approximately 130
- Graduate Medical Education programs in Women’s Health: OB/GYN Residency Program, Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Fellowship Program. Other GME programs planned in the near future include MFM and Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship Programs
