Southern California Maternal-Fetal Medicine Opportunity The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Loma Linda University is recruiting a board-certified or board-eligible, Maternal Fetal Medicine specialist to join our Division of Maternal Fetal Medicine at our Riverside University Health System campus. Qualified candidates must be board certified/eligible in OBGYN and Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the time of hire. Requisite duties include coverage of the antepartum service and labor and delivery, performing obstetrical ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis procedures, and perinatal consultation. Excellent communication skills and ability to function in a consultative role are required. Faculty rank and salary are based upon qualifications and experience. Candidate's CV and/or cover letter must state basic qualifications (or if pending) upon submission. The candidate will join 2 established MFM physicians at the Riverside University Health System campus. This practice is based in the Riverside County Hospital and has a diverse patient population with complex cases and opportunity for clinical research. All clinical faculty participate in the teaching of Family Medicine, OB/GYN residents, and medical students. Our practice consists of sonographers, genetic counselors, nurse care manager, diabetes nurse educator, dietician, behavioral health counselor,  perinatal substance abuse navigator and social worker. The MFM Division has launched an exciting new grant centered initiative to expand high risk obstetrical care to the entire county utilizing telehealth and tele-ultrasound technology.  Programs to provide a multidisciplinary approach for substance abuse and perinatal mental health disorders have also been actualized. Riverside county is close to the beach, mountains, skiing, surfing, hiking, professional sports teams, cultural centers, entertainment, Los Angeles and Orange County all within area.
