The Dan O'Keeffe SMFM Leadership Academy
The Dan O’Keeffe SMFM Leadership Academy is designed to engage MFM subspecialists in a unique professional development experience that frames leadership as the ability to build relationships, cultivate excellence, and sustain energy for productive influence, agency, and motivation to enact positive change.
As a participant, you will engage with your peers and gain critical leadership knowledge and skills for today’s healthcare environment. The registration fee includes both in-person sessions, as well as five web-based sessions (the dates have been updated due to COVID-19)
- Session 1: October 8-10, 2021
- Session 2: March 18-20, 2022
For both sessions, the program will begin at 8am on Friday and conclude at noon on Sunday.

Registration Rates: Course fees cover all course materials as well as breakfast and lunch on October 8 and 9, 2021 and March 18 and 19, 2022.

Scholarship: The Foundation for SMFM is pleased to announce a scholarship to the Dan O’Keeffe SMFM Leadership Academy. The scholarship, initiated by the generous support of SMFM members to the Foundation, is in honor and recognition of the distinguished service of Dr. Dan O’Keeffe to the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine and his dedication to excellence in leadership in healthcare. Eligible applicants will be in the third year of their MFM fellowship at the time the course begins in October 2021. Applications are now closed. The recipient will be notified shortly.

Cancellations must be in writing and received at firstname.lastname@example.org a minimum of one week prior to the course. No refunds will be given after that time. A $75 administrative fee will be charged for cancellations. Substitutions or transfers to virtual registration will be accepted anytime. Partial refunds will not be provided.
