The SMFM Fellow Lecture Series complements the MFM Fellowship Program with a twice-monthly web lecture series by leaders in MFM, ultrasound, research, neonatalogy and genetics. Join us on the first and third Wednesday of each month to hear your colleagues share state-of-the-art strategies for managing the un-routine.
About the Lecture Series
Since 2009, the Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine has sponsored the Fellow Lecture Series. This series highlights lectures prepared by internationally recognized experts on the selected topics important in maternal fetal medicine.
American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) Recognition
The goal of this series is to provide additional emphasis on the educational objectives of the MFM Fellowship program. The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine is supportive of this educational endeavor by the SMFM. The lecture series is to be used in addition to, and not in-lieu of the MFM fellowship program's weekly didactic lectures.
Each lecture consists of 50 minutes of didactic lecture followed by 10-15 minutes of live Q&A with the speaker.
All lectures begin at 12NN EST/EDT
The lecture series uses Adobe Connect. Adobe connect is easily accessed via PC, Mac, iPhone, iPad and other mobile devices. First time using Adobe Connect?
We encourage your interactive participation in the question and answer session and thus encourage each institution to join using a web camera and microphone. This is the fellow's opportunity to speak 'face to face' with leaders in the field.
We welcome your input to make the Fellow Lecture Series successful. Please feel free to forward comments, suggestions, or ideas for future speakers and topics to any of the organizers listed below.
