During this course, you will better understand the importance of the physiologic changes, timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment in critically ill pregnant women. This course will also integrate strategies to reduce severe maternal morbidity and mortality in critically ill obstetric patients using case studies that explore Pulmonary Hypertension/ECMO in Pregnancy, Placenta Accreta Spectrum/OB Hemorrhage, and Cardiomyopathy.

This course has been approved for 7.25 hours of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
1. Understand the importance of the physiologic changes of pregnancy as they pertain to the care of the critically ill patient.
2. Recognize the importance of timely diagnosis and appropriate treatment of the critically ill obstetric patient.
3. Integrate strategies to reduce severe maternal morbidity and mortality in the critically ill obstetric patient.
