http: As we continue our focus on the “M” in maternal-fetal medicine, this course will highlight opportunities improve maternal outcomes through hypertension bundle implementation, the use of practical strategies for anti-hypertensive treatment and ICU management while also outlining an approach for managing a stroke in labor and delivery.                       

There is no CME credit available for this course. 

1.         Describe approach for selecting antihypertensive agent. 
2.         Summarize indications and therapeutic options for ICU management of hypertensive emergencies. 
3.         Explain an approach to managing stroke in labor and delivery. 
4.         Prepare to implement or augment existing bundles for hypertensive emergencies. 
5.         Develop an approach to practice and debrief hypertensive emergencies.
