An in-depth examination of data on neonatal outcomes and survival after periviable preterm birth. Learn how maternal and obstetric management in the index of subsequent pregnancies can optimize maternal and neonatal outcomes.
           

This course is approved for 4 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.  

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
 
1. To review the evolving and current outcomes related to periviable birth. 
2. To identify opportunities to delay delivery or enhance newborn outcomes related to periviable birth. 
3. To discuss current controversies in the management of the patient at risk for periviable birth. 
4. To consider interventions to prevent or delay periviable delivery in the next pregnancy. 
5. To discuss multidisciplinary contributions to the management of periviable birth.
