Course Description:
The fetal imaging series is a 2-part post-graduate course that will provide the MFM sub-specialists and fellow-in-training the opportunity for enhanced learning in fetal ultrasound imaging, basic and advanced topics in fetal echocardiography, fetal cardiovascular disease, and management perspective from collaborative peers.  

Learning Objectives:
·       
  • Review the latest guidance from AIUM and the Fetal Heart Society regarding prenatal ultrasound screening for congenital heart disease. ·       
  • Improve technique in acquiring images to screen for common and less common congenital heart defects.
  • Improve technique in acquiring images to screen for common and less common congenital heart defects. ·       
  • Understand the importance of additional imaging, genetic screening and diagnostic procedures beyond ultrasound that should be considered when congenital heart disease is suspected.
  • Identify congenital heart defects that may benefit from prenatal fetal intervention.
