SMFM's 42nd Annual Pregnancy Meeting

Registration is open for the 42nd Annual Pregnancy Meeting, taking place virtually January 31 - February 5, 2022.  The Annual Meeting is the centerpiece of the Society's work and the premier event for learning about cutting-edge science in obstetrics and for connecting with leaders in maternal-fetal medicine and features postgraduate courses, oral and poster abstract presentations, and networking events.

The virtual meeting site and mobile event app are now available for the 42nd Annual Pregnancy Meeting!   All livestreams, zoom sessions, digital posters, and course materials are available via the website and mobile app.  After you have logged in to https://www.eventscribe.net/2022/SMFM2022/, build your schedule for the week by selecting the star icon next to each session you wish to attend, though all items for which you have pre-registered will be pre-populated with the star icon for your convenience. Clicking on "My Experience" will allow you to view your schedule and see how many CME you will earn after attending each postgraduate course for which you have registered. Your schedule can also be printed and exported to Word, pdf, and your Outlook calendar. You may also favorite posters, presenters, exhibitors, and attendees, enabling you to easily locate them later.   

The login credentials are the same for website and mobile event app – your email address used to register for the meeting, and your registration ID for the 42nd Annual Pregnancy Meeting.  Meeting registrants may access course materials now, and all content will be recorded and available via the virtual meeting site from February 18 – April 30, 2022.  Everything you'll need to have a successful meeting experience can be found through the event website and mobile app.   

  • Postgraduate CoursesInteractive zoom-based CME courses will be available virtually on the date and time scheduled. CME available for participating in real time or viewing the recording following the course.
  • Oral Sessions: Livestreams of 111 abstract presentations, including the opportunity to ask questions during the Q&A following each presentation.
  • Poster Sessions: Access to the digital poster wall to view more than 1,000 e-posters and interact with abstract authors.
  • Scientific Forums: Diabetes, Genetics, Global Health, Hypertension, Infection and Inflammation, Maternal-Fetal Surgery, PAS, Perinatal Mental Health, Reproductive Health, Thrive, Toxicology and Substance Use will take place during the usual time.  All other forums have deferred until the 2023 meeting.
  • Networking and Social Events: Select sessions will be available in a fully virtual format

Annual Meeting Cancellation Policy
Registrants can modify their registration selections online or cancel without penalty prior to Friday, January 21. Cancellation after Friday, January 21 will not provide any refunds. For all cancellations and other registration questions, please contact Jessica Sheehan at jsheehan@smfm.org or SMFM staff at events@smfm.org

Abstract Submission Notifications
Notifications regarding late-breaking abstract submissions will be sent by Friday, November 26, 2021. 
Notifications regarding regular abstract submissions were sent to the primary author on September 27, 2021.  

Spam Warning
SMFM attendees and exhibitors may receive emails from spammers soliciting sales of attendee lists. While SMFM sends cease and desist notices, these bad actors continue to spam attendees and exhibitors and are not associated with the Society or the Annual Meeting in any way.
