Professional Bio

Dr. Hedriana is the division director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Department of OB/GYN at the UC Davis Health with an appointment of Professor of Clinical OB/GYN. He joined the faculty in 1994 and was the Director of Perinatal Research until 1998. He is also the Chief of Obstetrics at UCDH and the Medical Director of the Prenatal Diagnosis of Northern California. Prior to his current position, he was the Medical Director for Reproductive Testing at Natera Inc. He volunteers in the CA March of Dimes MCH Services Committee and the P.I. for the MOD Preterm Labor Assessment Toolkit (PLAT), 2nd Edition 2014. He is board certified in Obstetrics/Gynecology and MFM. He is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Society of Maternal-Fetal Medicine; and the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. His areas of interest include prenatal diagnosis/screening, perinatal safety initiatives, prenatal diagnosis (including first trimester screening and amniocentesis), fetal ultrasound and management of labor. He authored peer review publications in these areas of interest. He is involved in Obstetric training programs at UC Davis. He was a founding partner of the Sacramento Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical Group Inc. from 2002-2017. Dr. Hedriana was the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Medical Director at Mercy General Hospital. He provided perinatal services for Dignity Health and Sutter Health in the Sacramento region. He was co-chair of the enterprise-wide Dignity Health Perinatal Clinical Consensus Group. He graduated from the Far Eastern University - Nicanor Reyes Medical Foundation Institute of Medicine, Manila, Philippines in 1983. He completed his residency training in OB/GYN at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University at Harlem Hospital Center in 1992 and his fellowship training in MFM at the UCSD in 1994. He joined the faculty at UC Davis School of Medicine in 1994. He is married and lives in El Macero CA.
