In 2018, SMFM joined the Association for Maternal-Fetal Medicine Management (AMFMM) to create the SMFM Practice Management Division (PM Division). The goal is to provide individuals and organizations with the business, leadership, and administrative resources required for success at every stage of their careers or their organization’s life cycle.

Recognizing the need for regular updates on coding and billing, as well as a gap in the educational preparation of physicians and other members of the MFM team, the PM Division provides comprehensive preparation for the management and administration of operations of a high-risk obstetric practice through:

Our Coding for Your Practice resources center allows SMFM Members to find the latest quality standards for accreditation and established guidelines for advanced procedures such as targeted ultrasound and fetal echocardiograms.
