Professional Bio

Jessica Morgan, MD is an OBGYN with sub-specialty training in both Maternal-Fetal Medicine and Anesthesiology/Critical Care Medicine. She is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine and serves as the Director of Maternal Critical Care at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Dr. Morgan earned her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, followed by fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Chicago. Dr. Morgan then completed an additional fellowship in Anesthesiology/Critical Care Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

She has a particular interest in the care of critically ill pregnant and postpartum patients with complex medical comorbidities. Her professional goals focus on collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve outcomes and experiences for our most medically complex and high-risk patients.

Her clinical interests include high-risk obstetrics, maternal critical care, cardiac disease in pregnancy, pregnancy after organ transplant, autoimmune disease, placental disorders, sickle cell disease, fetal growth restriction, and fetal ultrasound.
