Professional Bio

Dr. Sudhof is an academic maternal-fetal medicine specialist who provides the full spectrum of high-risk pregnancy care. She obtained her medical degree from Harvard Medical School and then completed residency training at Brown University/Women & Infants and fellowship training at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, where she stayed on as faculty after fellowship. She then joined the MFM faculty at UC Davis in the fall of 2023, where she took on the role as MFM Fellowship Program Director in 2025. Her academic interests include perinatal mental health and substance use disorders, initiatives to address the social determinants of health in health care delivery, and the measurement and mitigation of severe maternal morbidity with related obstetric quality initiatives.
