Professional Bio
I began my postgraduate training in a general surgery internship at University of Washington in Seattle. After completing my first year, I returned to Dallas to complete a residency in OB-Gyn. After residency, I practiced general OB-Gyn for 15 years in Denver before leaving for a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the Harbor-UCLA/Cedars-Sinai joint program. I completed fellowship in 1995 and joined an MFM practice in Denver, but left after one year to open an MFM practice in San Luis Obispo, CA. The practice grew to three MFM physicians, at which time the practice was sold to Pediatrix Medical Group. I worked for PMG in San Luis Obispo for 5 years, but then left to join Phoenix Perinatal Associates in their practice at Banner University Hospital (Good Samaritan Hospital). After almost 5 years in Phoenix, I moved to Dallas in 2017 to join the Dallas Obstetrix Group, where I continue to work as an employed physician. My interests include prenatal diagnosis and ultrasound, diabetes, and general high risk pregnancy management.
