The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine is thrilled to announce that it will host its first global congress from 25 to 28 September 2024 in Rome, Italy, at the Auditorium Parco della Musica.
The Society for Maternal-Fetal Medicine’s mission is to provide education, promote research, and engage in advocacy to optimize the health of high-risk pregnant individuals and their infants. By emphasizing maternal aspects of maternal-fetal medicine and showcasing the latest research worldwide, the SMFM Global Congress will broaden the visibility and importance of this mission.
Through pre-congress courses, invited talks, oral and poster presentations, exhibiting opportunities, and industry learning sessions, participants will be able to engage with fellow leaders in the field, expose themselves to new approaches to high-risk pregnancy care from colleagues around the globe, and foster lasting connections that transcend continental borders.

As of 3 June, room blocks are available to individuals who have registered for the SMFM Global Congress.
SMFM has secured a limited number of room blocks at discounted rates in and around the City Center for the Global Congress.
The number of rooms within the various hotel blocks is limited, and we expect the rooms to go quickly. As September is a busy time of year in Rome, SMFM encourages all registrants to book early. Discounted rates range from 240 to 450 euros/night.
Room blocks are available to SMFM Global Congress registrants.
To access the discounted rates at the select hotels, you must register for the meeting. In your registrant confirmation e-mail, you will receive a link to the hotels. Please use that link to book your accommodations.
