Surveys of Interest Submission Process
Thank you for your interest in submitting a survey. Below are instructions about the submission process and ordering details.
- Those interested in submitting a survey must complete the survey order form.
- A pre-payment is required on all orders. SMFM does not accept purchase orders or invoices. Please do not submit payment until you've received approval from the Survey Review Task Force. Approved surveys with complete payment will be posted on the SMFM Survey of Interest web page and accessible to SMFM members only for 6 months.
- Survey reviewed by our Survey Review Task Force comprised of the following members:
a. Informatics (1 member)
b. Education (1 member)
c. Communications (1 member) - There is a two-week turnaround time for review of the survey request. Surveys submitted will either be:
- Rejected with explanation from Survey Review Task Force
- Accepted for posting
- If the survey is accepted, it is then:
- Posted on the Surveys of Interest page with the following disclaimer:
i. Disclaimer that posted surveys are not conducted or endorsed by SMFM but have been reviewed for relevancy of interest to members and others who visit www.smfm.org
ii. A link to the Surveys of Interest page will be included in two issues of the all-member SMFM monthly newsletter, Special Delivery. - The survey post(s) contain the following:
I. Name of survey
ii. Investigators name(s) and contact information
iii. Institutional or company (if commercial) information
iv. Brief description of the survey (paragraph or less)
v. URL link to survey - The survey remains active for 6 months. The investigator can re-submit the application and payment for renewed posting.
